The FIFA U-20 World Cup is one of the biggest sporting events in soccer, with more than 90 nations from six confederations competing for the title in 46 years history of FIFA U-20 worldcup. Originally scheduled to be held in Indonesia in 2021, the tournament was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and has now been rescheduled for 2023.

The tournament will feature a 24-team format, with the matches set to take place from 20 May to 11 June 2023. The 24 teams will be split into six groups of four, with the top

two teams from each group progressing to the knockout phase. Additionally, the four best third-placed teams will also advance to the Round of 16.

As Indonesia is no longer hosting the FiFA U 20 Worldcup it has beem moved to Argentina who is set to host the tournament and the stadiums that will be used for the tournament will be announced.

The last edition of the U-20 World Cup was held in 2019, where Ukraine won the tournament by defeating Poland in the final. However, the Ukrainian team did not qualify for the upcoming tournament.
